It might seem like overkill to backup everything, but I’d rather have everything backed up and not need it, than have something happen to my device and then find out that a folder wasn’t synced that I would have liked. On my current phone I have 20 folders in the parent folder, most of them created by the OS or apps I’ve installed, and even if I manually set up a Syncthing folder sync for each of them, I would still need to check from time to time in case any new folders have been created, and again sync them. However this is not possible in the latest version(s) of Android as apps don’t have access to the parent folder of the device, and so to sync the whole device now requires manually selecting each folder within the parent folder and syncing them. I don't know how to edit a PKGBUILD with yay.Įdits: additional notes and learning markdown.Hey everyone, I’ve been using Syncthing for a while now, and in the past I have been able to backup my entire Android devices with a single Syncthing folder. I tried 's recommendation to use yay -editmenu -S freefilesync, but I had the same result. Like the users below, I think the wxgtk2 might be the solution. I think I am reading that wxgtk is being skipped. => ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().Ĭould this AUR be looking for an old dependency? Would webkitgtk-3 work? configure.acĪutoreconf: error: gtkdocize failed with exit status: 1 Here is the final error when I try to install webkitgtk manually (same when running "yay -S freefilesync"):Īutoreconf: configure.ac: not using Intltool I have this problem on three of my Arch Linux machines. I am new with AUR installs, so thanks for patience. I am having issues with webkitgtk (I think there is a conflict with webkitgtk-3 perhaps?) and wxgtk-git.
